Join Our Team at Gateway Christian Education Center
Meaningful work with children begins with supported teachers.
At Gateway Christian Education Center, our team serves children and families during some of their most formative years. In return, we’re committed to fostering a workplace where educators feel valued, encouraged, and respected both professionally and personally.
As a faith-centered ministry, we provide safe, structured, Christ-centered care while cultivating a culture rooted in teamwork, flexibility, and family.
If you’re passionate about working with children and want to be part of a team that values your role and your life outside of work, we invite you to explore opportunities at GCEC.
Why Our Staff Love Working at GCEC
Here’s how our team describes working at GCEC:
“I love my coworkers and bosses! They are all so understanding and helpful. We are like a big family inside and outside of work. The kids are the best part of my day, every day. I love teaching them and watching them grow!”
“The gals in the office are amazing. Always there to help when we need it. Everyone works so well together. It honestly feels like I’ve been a part of GCEC for years, but it’s only been almost 3 years. I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else.”
“I love that I have a job I truly enjoy, surrounded by amazing people. I appreciate the flexibility in my position that allows me to unexpectedly take my son to the doctor when needed. I enjoy having scheduled hours that allow me to come to work and then have quality time with my family. I also love the environment as soon as I walk into the building and how welcoming everyone is.”
“The bosses are always there if I have any concerns or questions. Being a part of GCEC is more than just a job, it’s a family.”
“I love the flexibility for my family. I also love that my daughter attends GCEC and receives services that support her development. She loves it and all of her teachers!”
“I appreciate that I can walk into the office and speak with our directors without feeling judged or met with negativity. They truly go above and beyond for the teachers and staff and make an effort to show their appreciation. From birthday and anniversary cards to Teacher Appreciation, Christmas parties, monthly potlucks, provided snacks and treats, training, paid holiday breaks, and PTO, they genuinely try to care for us as employees.”
Flexibility, supportive leadership, appreciation, and teamwork are themes we hear consistently from our staff. Many employees also share how meaningful it is to work in a place where their own children can attend, allowing them to remain close to their families while serving the children in our care.
From paid time off to ongoing training and appreciation events, leadership works intentionally to strengthen both professional excellence and personal well-being.
If this sounds like the kind of environment you’re looking for, we’d love to connect with you.
