GCEC has been amazing for our family. Our daughter started there when she was around 3 months old, and she is just now turning three. We have had great experiences in every single room. The staff and teachers are so attentive and polite. They truly love our daughter like she is their own, celebrating her successes and knowing all of her preferences and personality. They know her temperament and could easily tell if she was getting sick or ways to cheer her up on a fussy day. I always felt that my daughter was in good hands and that her safety was a priority. My daughter also has severe food allergies, and the staff at GCEC does a FANTASTIC job communicating about her allergy and providing delicious, safe foods for her. From the time I became a new, young mom to now having a toddler, the staff has helped me tremendously on my journey. They provided a lot of insight into her behavior and worked with us to create consistency between home and the center. Beyond loving our daughter and facilitating amazing care, GCEC also makes the center fun. They go all out around holidays, parties, decorations, creating a positive climate, and hosting performances and Trunk or Treat. Our daughter looks forward to celebrating with her friends and teachers. As a teacher, I'm very impressed with the organization, lesson plans, skill development, communication, and engagement the teachers implement across all classes. I know that my child isn't just receiving excellent care, but she is also receiving educational experiences that help her meet her developmental milestones and hone her social skills. It makes our day when we receive updates about our daughter throughout the day, whether it is a picture or a Procare update. We love GCEC, and we will definitely send any children we have into their care!

We have had all 3 of our children at Gateway since they were just babies. We have been so blessed to have such amazing teachers at every stage in their development. They not only provide a caring environment, the teachers also provide lesson plans to ensure the children are growing in their social and developmental skills. It is hard as a working parent to leave your baby, but they have given us peace of mind knowing our kids are loved and cared for.

I have had my kids enrolled in Gateway now for over three years with a couple months of a break, from moving to and then back into Kanawha County! Gateway was my first call to get my youngest back in. There was simply nowhere else I trusted to take my kids. Having been recently divorced, they have continued to work with myself and my kid’s father for everything to run as smoothly and seamlessly as possible. I would always recommend Gateway Christian Education Center to anyone that is needing a trustworthy, educational/christian based learning center. Every care-giver and teacher there goes above and beyond for every child. It is truly a special place to be a part of.

Leaving your child in the care of someone else all day while you work is always difficult. But at Gateway, I feel totally comfortable! The teachers have been nothing short of amazing and caring. My daughter has become a social butterfly and she has learned SO MUCH! I honestly had no idea she would learn so much while having fun doing it. They communicate through the ProCare App throughout the day with updates and pictures (and let’s be honest, we need to see that to brighten our day!). The directors are amazing and so welcoming and always answer any questions I may have. Overall, 10/10 I would recommend Gateway to anyone looking for someone to love their child during the day while they work!

My son has attended Gateway since he was 2 and is now 11. I can’t say enough good things about the staff! I can tell they care about my son. I have peace of mind while he is there. He enjoys the activities that are offered, especially the trips during the summer program. I would recommend Gateway to any family looking for a wonderful place for their child.

We chose GCEC mostly out of convenience to my husband’s work, but it has been such a wonderful choice from the very beginning. Our toddler struggles with separation anxiety, so she had a hard time adjusting to leaving mom and dad but the teachers and directors were supportive from day one and gave her the extra time and attention she needed to make sure she felt safe and comfortable. She now loves daycare and talks about her classmates and teachers all the time. She’s learned so much and we are so happy with the experience she’s getting at GCEC.

I would never want my child being anywhere else but Gateway. We were in a pinch and needed care and they came in the clutch which was totally unexpected. My child has health issues and the staff ensure that my child gets his necessary medications and breathing treatments on time. We receive multiple notifications and pictures per day to put our minds at ease knowing what our child is doing throughout the day. My little one is delayed developmentally. Not only do the staff work with my child daily with his struggles but they also take suggestions from the Birth to Three therapists to help my baby get better and stronger. His teachers are amazing with him and they are so accommodating to me and help me meet my baby’s milestones as well. We love Gateway!

Both of my girls have thrived while being at Gateway. It’s definitely not just a daycare as my girls have learned so much academically & the teachers are absolutely wonderful. The directors are also approachable & available which is another blessing in itself.
